Taranaki Job Interview Trip

Hello...

Yang and I made a trip up to Taranaki, New Plymouth, on Tuesday and came back last night.

My interview went o.k. I did much better than last one. wait and see....

It was such a sunny day in Taranaki. We decided to go for a walk in East Mt Egmont and it was really good exercise.

finally my semi-off day!

Hello...

Finally, today is my semi-off day...

It was a long week...

worked at the hospital, helped out the psych conference, and played frisbee games whole day...

my body is little tiered now, but, all in all, I have enjoyed various activities!

I am suppose to be off from my placement during this week, but I have organised a few meetings and tasks, so, I guess, it is going to be another busy week!!

Better get ready for a meeting in this afternoon!

I cooked my very first lasagna last night. It took me about one hour to make it...

White source can be improved, but, all in all, it tasted good!

Well, another busy week at the hospital, but I like there!

Sunny Saturday in Wanganui

Hello...

My last lazy weekend started off in Wanganui...

Mr Yang and I have decided to go up there in the afternoon... without no particular reason. I really need to get out from Palmy... This week has been mentally very tiring for me ... I did not really cope it well...

Well... that's life.

A big thanks to Mr Yang for taking me out.

Miss Yasu's little bakery is fantastic! She is very good at this! Lucky us!

Morning...

It is going to be a fine day in Palmy.

Since I have submitted my thesis, my work load is less stressful, which is a good thing.

My tutoring job keeps me busy and gives me a structure of a week, which is also good.

My placement at hospital will start from 17th August and end mid-October, so I guess I have about 10 days to enjoy my less stressful days.

I took a few photos in this morning, on the way to my cubicle. Cherry blossom.. Spring is near... Let's hope so...

Hello...

It was a really sunny day in Palmy...

I started early to get some work from office and then dropped off my Logo for maintenance and W.O.F service. Logo was overdue for full maintenance! Poor Logo...

While waiting my Logo to be serviced, Yasu and I walked to Massey. It was a good excise for us. It took us only 30minutes to get there. I shall walk to there again when the weather is good.

I took some photos around the campus... Spring is near... hopefully...

I wanted to eat something soulty, so Yasu had suggested me to cook this.

Took me no more than 10 minites and was pretty yummy.

I was pretty happy about it.

I haven't been posting any blog for a while....

Here is a photo of me with "the thesis"...

It was hard to let my thesis go at the end when I went to GRS office to submit it.

A lady in the office gave me a fancy pen to congratulate a completion of the thesis...

Most expensive pen I have ever received from Massey... hahaha...

It was all worth it!

final month

Morning,

I took some flu medicines last night to make sure I won't get infected with a flu virus in my office. Everybody in here is sick, one in particular. I felt so sorry for him that I gave him my cough medicine.

I am feeling very anxious about finishing off my thesis on time now. This is going to be my last month!!

I cannot have any distinctions, except the final exam marking. My apologies in advance if I am not in mood to communicate with you guys.

My thesis did not arrive from Wellington yesterday - hopefully it will today. I won't have the second chance to do a PhD ( and i don't want to do this again...), not like doing undergraduate papers.

Well... try not to be overwhelmed by this -one by one, just simply do my tasks. I know I will be fine!

Oh, today's photo was taken from Massey car park in this morning... It is going to be a cloudy day... I just thought colour of the sky was nice .

I am still feeling a little sick, though I must get on with my thesis.

My friend introduced me this story book called, "the little engine that could", during this lunch time.

Hello...

It has been 4 days since I have fall in sick, flu.

Thanks God for all those strong medicines, which are working so well, though they make me dizzy and druggie all day...

sigh sigh...

My brain is .... overly medicated with all those flu medicines... cannot think...

sigh sigh...

My supervisor is still working (or not working) on my thesis... The final due date is about a month away and I am very very concerned!!

I have not been working out for 5 days... feeling like "panda"...

sigh sigh...

Enough complains for now...

It is a fine day in Palmy... finally...

I have just had a very short supervision session with my supervisor ...

As I have expected, he has not finished his reading... lots to go... by the looking of it... sigh sigh...

Never mind... he will do it, eventually....

I must think about some interesting tasks to keep me going for another 10 days... 

I should have bought that cheap ticket to Japan...

Never mind...  

I shall read over my thesis and find some mistakes for now...

Hello...

It has been a long time since I have updated my blog.

Well, I have been busy  finishing off my draft thesis (yay!) and doing some marking. Now that all teaching time have finished, funny enough, I have relaised, I actually did enjoyed teaching my students. I would do it again if I have given another opportunity!

All marking have been done.... very good.... but I have to find some tasks to do from tomorrow for a few days. Well, I always have something to do --- maybe I should start working on an article... Yeah, that might be a good idea. I should read more articles for my thesis... Yeah, that might be another good idea...

Anyway, I shall go to the gym soon!

Yes I did!

Hello, 

after so many months, days, and nights of struggle, "YES", I finally managed to put together all writings and materials into one thesis...

I have finished it on Friday morning, around 5:30 am... I felt so "old" after 4 days of almost non-sleeping nights.... 

Funny thing was that the first person to share my happiness was my cleaner....

She even came down to check on me, whether or not I have been working over night! 

hahaha... very nice of her...

So, this is a good draft of my thesis and it has 295 pages!! I like "thickness" of it!

I have posted it to my supervisor on Friday afternoon...

I am feeling a little better that I have finally managed to put everything together as one complete thesis... Hopefully, my supervisor does not give me a hard time! 

Anyway, some parts I could write  more and better. I shall work on these parts while I wait for my supervisor's feedback. Oh, I have lots of marking job to do --- good!
